Welcome to Baraka

We have operated very much like a Trust over the last ten years; and over the coming months we are going to go through the process of making this formal. This includes the creation and execution of a governing document (our Deed of Trust) and the formalising people`s roles within Baraka, either as Trustees or people who help the Trustees. The Baraka Membership Club will become a social club aspect of the Baraka Trust. To sum up what we want to do and where we want to go, this is the score...

Our Mission:

To seek out new artists and help them establish creative careers; to provide social events where these and other artists can demonstrate their creations; to provide and maintain a social networking and information sharing infrastructure for all people interested in supporting the prosperity of this Trust.

Our Vision:

This Trust will one day become an establishment possessing all required for total self-sufficiency. Functioning to promote an unrestricted range of artists and producing a diverse range of social events. Activities undertaken by this Trust will provide opportunities for the people interested in the prosperity of this Trust, to learn skills and gain experience in every area this Trust becomes active in, who can in turn themselves, one day become Trustees to keep carrying this Trust forwards.
